Nat Laurel

This book accompanied my life ever since I remember myself. A standard to adhere, a moral and aesthetic ‘pillar’ to live up to. My first huge lesson of humility; she was something I desperately wanted to be a part of but didn’t master to. I spent hours and hours starting at her pictures, poses, gazes. They formed me at the most fundamental level.. I always knew that this day would come.. one day. I just felt this indefinite as ‘never’. When I learned the sad news today and looked at the top shelf I saw that the book was laying down flat.. I am in denial today…#plisetskaya #майяплисецкая
